Dr. Charis Wolf, DTCM, MSc, MAcC (UK) L.Ac. (US), Dipl. Ac., is a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh and an integrative medicine practitioner; currently licensed acupuncturist in Washington state, previously in California and also currently in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is a clinical herbalist with a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine and additional education in functional medicine. She is a member of the American Herbalist Guild, sits on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Acupuncturists, a member of the British Acupuncture Council, British Medical Acupuncture.
While researching East Asian traditional medical epistemologies, she also peer reviews journals articles for Medical Acupuncture, Journal of Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine, and the Journal of East Asian Philosophy.
Charis has an online herbal practice that is based on 20 years of acupuncture experience and 25+ years of herbal experience. Her work includes patient herbal consultation and continuous study of traditional and modern medicine methodologies as well as publications in acupuncture and philosophical journals.
